1,000 g frozen spinach leaves
500 g gorgonzola
200 g butter
Our tip: Ideal for burger fans who prefer a light snack.
1. Defrost and drain the spinach, then heat in a pan with half of the Gorgonzola. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg to taste. Squeeze the mixture in a kitchen towel until no more moisture escapes.
2. Spread each slice of bread with butter, then cover the uncoatedside with the spinach and gorgonzola mixture and spread the remaining cheese on top. Place the second slice of bread on top with the buttered side facing up.
3. Toast the sandwiches in the contact grill until the slices are golden brown and crispy.
